The extraordinary within
The Extraordinary Within, Donn Smith with Lynn Sumida, 2003

A description of how Prime Potential was developed, intertwined with Donn Smith’s life story. The co-author is a real honey, too.

Tomorrow’s God, Neale Donald Walsh, 1996

An invitation to update our conception of God, entering a new paradigm for understanding our place in the world, with God/Spirit/Source, and how the old paradigm and the new paradigm have consequences for the well-being of the planet and the future of humanity.
The Power of Intention, Wayne Dyer, 2004

A wonderfully clear articulation of what intention is and how to make use of it to co-create our lives and world in healthier ways. Exercises are included for those interested in the additional effort to develop further.
The Biology of Belief, Bruce Lipton, 2005

Learn how our beliefs directly impact our physiology, and discover the importance of moving from fear to openness in order to be healthier.
The Biology of Transcendence, Joseph Chilton Pearce, 2002

A brilliant summary of research indicating the heart is the 5 part of the brain and the overall
impact on the quality of our lives when we open our hearts and have access to our frontal
lobes…thereby opening to great spiritual experiences and insights.
The BodyMind Workbook, Debbie Shapiro, 2002

An invaluable addition to ones’ library. This is a very understandable and insightful presentation of the connection between symptoms and emotional or mental issues. Merely look up the physical symptom and read what might be involved at the emotional and mental level.
Loving What Is, Byron Katie with Stephen Mitchell, 2002

When people makes themselves upset or believe others are upsetting them, here is an elegant set of questions to help them open to loving what is.
The Hidden Messages In Water, Masaru Emoto, 2004

A presentation complete with photos of how the structure of water shifts depending on the thoughts occurring around it. As humans are at least 70% water, doesn’t it make sense we’d
want to know the impact of thinking compassionately and loving and gratefully about and around people versus the impact of thinking negatively, critically, angrily.
The Emptiness Dancing
Emptiness Dancing, Adyashanti, 2004

Starting from the realization that our true nature is emptiness, a vast stillness and loving silence, Adyashanti goes on to present teachings directly relevant to those seeking and deepening into truth. His presentation is simple and joyful.

Choice Theory, Dr. William Glasser, 1998

This foundational theory about behavior helps us understand what really motivates us and that we have a choice about how we behave. Most people have been raised with a model of external control (rewards or punishment) and most systems operate from this perspective. This theory challenges traditional logic and shows a new way to enhance relationships and gain a greater sense of personal freedom.
Infinite Life, Robert Thurman, 2004

We are invited to examine our assumptions about living and dying and to take into account the possibility that not only are our lives not meaningless, but they have infinite consequences for ourselves and others. He challenges our fundamental beliefs about life and offers that we have the opportunity for a life of infinite joy, connection with others and infinite power to do good.
A New Earth
A New Earth, Eckhart Tolle, 2005

A very exciting, easily understood description of our ego-based consciousness and how we keep ourselves attached to pain and suffering. His revelations about who we truly are and how to live from a place of greater presence is wonderfully inspiring. Written with the intention of guiding the reader from one way of being to the other, this book is truly a joy to experience. Included is a wonderful framework for understanding life purpose and the importance of living our lives in alignment with our inner and outer life purposes. The author’s vision involves each of us choosing to make these shifts, thereby not only altering our experience on the inside, but also helping to create A New Earth around us.

The Ego & the Dynamic Ground
The Ego & the Dynamic Ground, Michael Washburn, 1995

This is an intriguing and stimulating exploration of the spiritual path from a transpersonal psychology perspective. This is well worth reading for an understanding of the relationship between ego and dynamic ground, or rephrasing this into our words, the relationship between ego and Spirit/Source. As we explore more of the ways in which we hold ourselves back from being more in connection with Spirit, we find books such as this one to be essential in helping us find our way along the path.

Presence: Exploring Profound Change
Presence: Exploring Profound Change, Peter M. Senge

Organizational Development guru Peter Senge expands the notion of “personal mastery” begun in The Fifth Discipline. It’s about letting go of assumptions, listening deeply and bringing into reality that which wants to emerge.
